1.cultivate (v)
to improve or prepare land for raising crops; to form and refine by education
ความหมาย : ปรับปรุงหรือเตรียมดินเพื่อปลูกพืชพันธุ์ , วางระเบียบหรือขัดเกลาโดยการศึกษา
This plant is cultivated for its flowers.
แปลว่า : ต้นไม้นี้ปลูกเพื่อหวังดอก

2. Vineyards (v)
ground planted with cultivated grapevines.
ความหมาย : สวนองุ่น ,ไร่องุ่น
These vineyards belong to a millionnaire in Bologna.
แปลว่า : ไร่องุ่นนี้เป็นของมหาเศรษฐีคนหนึ่งแห่งโบโลญ

3. Increase (v.)
to make or become larger or greater
ความหมาย : ทำให้ใหญ่ขึ้น , หรือมากขึ้น
Man increases in wisdom with the increase of age.
แปลว่า : คนมีความลาดมากขึ้นเมื่ออายุเพิ่มขึ้น

4. Competition (n)
A vying with others for profits, prize or position; a contest of skills.
ความหมาย : การแข่งขันกับคนอื่นเพื่อหวังกำไร , รางวัลหรือตำแหน่ง การแข่งขันทางด้านทักษะ
There is a keen competition in the automobile industry
แปลว่า : มีการแข่งขันอย่างดุเดือดในอุตสาหกรรมรถยนต์

5. Survey (v.)
to examine or look at in a comprehensive way
ความหมาย : ตรวจสอบหรือดูอย่างลึกซึ้ง , สำรวจ

แปลว่า : เขาสำรวจถนน

6. Attitude (n)
A posture or manner of carrying oneself indicative of mood or condition.
ความหมาย : การวางท่าหรืออาการในการวางตัวที่แสดงออกถึงอารมณ์หรือสภาพจิตใจหรือความรู้สึกนั้นเอง
A state of mind or feeling. don’t like his threatening attitude.
แปลว่า : ฉันไม่ชอบอากัปกริยาขู่เข็ญของเขาเลย

ความหมาย : ความสุข , ความพอใจ ที่ได้รับจากนักแสดง , การรับรอง ,ความบันเทิง

8. Conduct (n)
The way a person acts, management, administration.
ความหมาย : วิธีที่บุคคลกระทำ , การจัดการ , การบริหาร
A King is responsible for the conduct of the state
แปลว่า : กษัตริย์จะต้องผิดชอบต่อการกระทำของรัฐ

9. Research (n)
Scholarly or scientific investigation or inquiry.
ความหมาย : การตรวจสอบ , หรือการสืบสวนในเชิงวิทยาศาสตร์หรือการประกอบไปด้วยความรู้
The most successful research requires teamwork.
แปลว่า : การวิจัยที่ประสบความสำเร็จมากที่สุดต้องอาศัยการทำงานเป็นทีม

10. Current (adj )
belonging to the time now passing; now in progress.
ความหมาย : อยู่ในช่วงเวลาปัจจุบันที่กำลังผ่านไป , ขณะนี้
