Connectors (คำเชื่อม )
Connector หมายถึง คำหรือวลีที่ใช้เชื่อมข้อความภายในประโยค หรือระหว่างประโยคภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อแสดงความสัมพันธ์ทางด้านต่าง ๆ เช่น ความสัมพันธ์ทางด้านเหตุผล หรือการขัดแย้งกันของประโยค หรือความแตกต่างกัน สำหรับตัวเชื่อมในบทเรียนนี้เราจะเน้นคำเชื่อมที่มักจะใช้บ่อยในชีวิตประจำวัน การทำงานและการสอบ
1. Cause-result connector (คำเชื่อมแสดงเหตุและผล) ได้แก่ So, Therefore, Thus, Consequently, As a result, Hence, As a consequence

4. Purpose connectors (คำเชื่อมที่แสดงวัตถุประสงค์) เช่น So that , In order that (เพื่อว่า), In order to, So as to, to (เพื่อที่จะ), lest (เพื่อที่จะไม่)
