คำที่ความหมายเหมือนกัน แต่ใช้ต่างกัน Synonym

คำศัพท์กลุ่มที่ 1.
price, value, cost

price (พไรซ) = ราคา [เน้นที่จำนวนเงิน] – The car is priced at ฿955,000.

value (แฝล-ยู) = มูลค่า, มีราคา, มีคุณค่า
– What is the value of the prize?

cost (ค็อซท) = ราคา [เน้นที่ตัวสินค้า] – How much does this book cost?

say (เซ) = บอก, กล่าว, พูด

speak (ซพีค) = พูด, บรรยาย

talk (ทอค) = เจรจา, พูด

– She talks to her mother on the phone every week.

A little, Little

A little ตามด้วย นามนับไม่ได้
= some, a small amount
มีบ้าง เล็กน้อย

Little ตามด้วย นามนับไม่ได้
= not much / almost nothing
ไม่มาก แทบจะไม่มี

– They had little money to spend.

Accept, Agree

Accept (แอ็คเซพท-) = ยอมตกลง, ยอมรับ
– Do you accept credit cards?

Agree (อักรี-) = เห็นพ้อง, ปรองดอง, ยินยอม
– I agree with you on this issue.
– I agree that he should be invited.
– Gaga and I never seem to agree.

Afraid, Fear

Afraid (อัฟเรด-) = กลัว, เกรง

Fear (เฟีย) = เกรงกลัว, เกรงขาม
